Meet our speaker
Lt. Col. Dave Grossman is a highly accomplished author, military veteran, and expert in human aggression and combat psychology. A former West Point psychology professor, he served as a U.S. Army Ranger and paratrooper before retiring from active duty in 1998.
Grossman is the author of several influential books, including the bestselling On Killing, which has sold over half a million copies, and a New York Times bestseller co-authored with Glenn Beck. His body of work also includes four novels, two children's books, and six non-fiction books. In addition, he holds five patents and has a Black Belt in Hojutsu, the martial art of the firearm, earning him induction into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
Since retiring from the military, Grossman has become one of the nation’s leading trainers for military personnel, law enforcement, mental health professionals, and school safety organizations. His expertise in violence and combat psychology has made him a sought-after speaker and educator.
