First and foremost, we want to sincerely thank you for being the first line of defense against those who would bring harm and chaos to our community. We are grateful for the selfless sacrifices you make every day so that our lives and neighborhoods are safer places to live.

Secondly, we want you to know that we are praying for you and your family on a regular basis. In the Bible, Romans 13:1-6 says that you are “the minister of God … for good” and that your position in society is ordained by God. We respect the fact that you have chosen this occupation and way of life and we have committed to praying for you and your immediate family.

We realize that you are not always understood for the split-second decisions you have to make and that you are often criticized in the most public of formats. While there is not much that we can do to stop these unfortunate and often inaccurate comments from taking place, please know we've got your six!

In this world of chaos, there are still many who appreciate you and all that you do. Thank you for making up the Thin Blue Line. Thank you for being God’s minister of justice for good.
